Isamo Thissen, recently graduated as a visual artist, has been declared the winner of the Jheronimus Atelier Prize 2021 (JAP). The prize is presented annually by the municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch as an opportunity to develop starting talent by giving a (free) studio at Willem Twee art space for a whole year. Alderman Mike van der Geld (Culture): “Artists from the art academy provide extra excitement and color in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. And as Cultural City of the South we need. Those who color outside the lines. Congratulations Isamo with this award, we hope to hear and see a lot more from you!”
