I want to adjust the negativity and ignorance surrounding ADHD, so that ADHDers become aware of their own superpowers.

The Power of ADHD.

ADHD: Beauty in the Chaos

As a fluid designer, I depict the beauty I see in people, expressed in manageable chunks of visual information. I look for the layers in others and illustrate these in my work in a variety of perspectives and media.

This project was made by and for people living with ADHD. I want to adjust the negativity and ignorance surrounding ADHD, so that ADHDers become aware of their own superpowers. I want to highlight the positive symptoms of ADHD. My research indicates that most troubles for ADHDers starts during their school years, and that is why I’ve focused on students.

ADHD: Beauty in the Chaos, is an activity filled week at secondary schools during which the ADHD diagnosis is discussed, prejudices are addressed, and the students get creative by following their impulses during a workshop. The workshop ends with an installation showcasing the knowledge and creations, merged with an animation depicting the powers of ADHD. I don’t offer a solution, but an experience to inspire open conversation about ADHD and lessen the stigma surrounding it.
