Nature’s Algorithm

With my work, I want to raise awareness of a return to the essence of our existence. Whilst searching for what that essence might be, I started working with my own genetic code. With this approach, I have been trying to find a way to get closer to the source of what we call life. Within my work, my goal is to get biology and technology to work together and complement each other, instead of opposing one another. This fascination arose after wondering if I could patent my own DNA. I created my own way of doing so, by translating my genetic code into music. As some sort of secret language, I converted the raw data from my DNA to musical notes. I believe that everything around us consists of energy, and therefore must exist at a certain frequency. From there, I translated the “invisible” frequency of my DNA into a perceptible frequency. The way I see it, everything and everyone is connected to each other. That is why I find it important to actively connect others to my personal DNA, by creating an immersive space where people may experience an enhanced state of Being.
