On this interactive website, I will take you on a journey in search of the sublime. The website allows you to choose your own path and dive into a never-ending exploration of the impossible. We can experience the sublime in watching a starry sky, in enjoying the sounds of thunder and in hiking through impressive mountains. It is the overwhelming force of nature that makes us feel small and insignificant, while at the same time lifting us up above our daily lives and giving us a brief relief. It offers an overview and gives us fresh insights; it will put us back on our feet with renewed courage and a greater appreciation for life as we reassess our role towards nature and men. Follow me on this trail to picture the abstract by experimenting with film, photography and found footage as we try to catch a glimpse of this ideal.
