Don’t eat everything you see, See everything you eat

Emotional eating is more common than people think. Anger, stress, boredom and loneliness can cause people to give into their cravings and eat. With emotional eating, the emotion is connected to eating. Once you start, you could go into a binge and it is easy to lose control.

My project offers some support tot he binge eater that could be helpful in reducing the harm that comes with emotional consumption. I created “ForMind”, that can be used during a binge. It makes sure that you becomes more aware while eating.

Through the specific shapes of the plate, the person is confronted with the binge eating. You must take extra actions while eating. It’s important they eat slowly. The uneven schape in the plate ensures that less food is eaten in a binge. “ForMind” is a tool to reduce emotional eating.
