Augmenting Nature

Biodiversity, we hear about it more and more these days. There are a lot of plants and animals that are threatened with extinction. What can we do to increase biodiversity, so these species will not go extinct?

This is the question I started my project with. I want to show people what they can do to help in an interactive and playful way.

Augmenting Nature consists of multiple Augmented Reality effects where you view different plants and the insects that are attracted to them in your garden, your balcony or any place you wish to view them. While viewing the plants, you can move them around your screen and even walk around them. In addition to this, you can view information about the plants such as what they need and more importantly where to get them. Share your experience because only together can we increase biodiversity.
